David graduated from the University of Virginia in 2012 with a B.Sc. in Physics and a B.A. in Mathematics. He continued his studies at the North Carolina State University, where he received a M.Sc. in Physics. During his time at both universities, he was actively involved in research regarding spintronics, CLFV, nanomaterials, and polymer physics. Outside of the lab, David shared his passion for math and physics through instruction, tutoring, developing visual learning aids, and volunteering at local science museums.
Non-academic interests include Scrabble, petrology, and the various works of Bill Bryson and Kurt Vonnegut
