Dr. Jeffrey W. Laub is Professor of Physics and Mathematics at Central Virginia Community College.
Previous, Dr. Laub served as an administrator and on the faculty at Rogers State University, Macon State College, Alice Lloyd College.. He earned a Ph.D.in Physics from Lehigh University, a M.S. in Physics from St. Bonaventure University, and a B.S. with majors in Physics and Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics from Moravian College.
Dr. Laub has conducted research in community statistics, percolation theory, and teaching physics to the blind. Recently he has been extensively involved in Middle School STEM education to enable students them better understand physics and to develop an appreciation of all sciences that will lead them to STEM careers. Last year, he collaborated on the publication of a book Alternative Routes: Navigating Adult Education with Dr. Rebecca Dilling.
