Mr. Boylan has over twenty (20) years experience as a process engineer and project engineer in industry, mostly in nuclear energy businesses but also with leather tanning, polychlorinated bi-phenyls in electrical transformers, and design of a pharmaceutical plant. He has also held positions in customer service.
Mr. Boylan earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s Degree from the University of Virginia in Engineering. He started teaching chemistry and technical courses at Central Virginia Community College in the fall of 2007. He joined the STEM Academy team as a Chemistry Instructor in the spring of 2016.
