The XLR8- Lynchburg Regional Governor’s STEM Academy will be holding an Open House for all prospective students and parents in the Region 2000 area.
When: Thursday, February 12th, 2015 6:00-8:00 pm
Where: Merritt Hall Multi-purpose room on the campus of Central Virginia Community College.
Please join us to learn more about the STEM Academy. You will receive information on the application process, the curriculum and internship opportunities. Plus, we will provide you with tours of the facility and student demonstrations.
This is a great opportunity for sophomores and parents to see what the STEM Academy has to offer students interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) career fields. The STEM Academy offers students the opportunity to earn dual enrollment credits in the Engineering Pathways of Mechatronics and Biotechnology.
