Angie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Minor in Business Administration from Averett University. She has most of her teaching experience at Danville Community College and in Pittsylvania County Schools. She graduated with an M.Ed. from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!). Since then, she has completed an additional 18 hours of graduate-level Mathematics courses.
Angie loves teaching and her students and is often described as energetic and happy. Angie lives in Appomattox with her husband and three pups, Maggie, Agnes, and Mabel. She enjoys CrossFit and wake surfing at Smith Mountain Lake, VA. She also loves spending time with her two girls (one currently at VA Tech and the other also a Hokie graduate).
