Beth Shelton graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and minors in economics and business from Lynchburg College in 2001. She began her teaching career in various local high schools. She graduated with an M.Ed. from Lynchburg College with an emphasis in Educational Leadership in 2006 and since then has completed an additional 27 hours of graduate-level Mathematics courses at LC. She is an assistant professor at Central Virginia Community College.
Beth has experience in teaching various levels of mathematics and in the differentiation of instruction to address the needs of students in the classroom setting. Beth enjoys working out, watching Virginia Tech football, being outside, playing with the family dogs, reading, and keeping busy with her girls.
